Saturday is Flight Day!

After a lot of hard work in terms of both fund raising and industry liaison, the students are all set to fly out to Europe on Saturday.

Last weekend saw the final round of fundraising with a plant sale at Berwick. This raised a staggering $700 and was largely due to the combined efforts of Vanessa, Kylie and Ray. The special technique utilising Tomato outfits obviously paid dividends!

This Saturday our students flight will leave Melbourne and will refuel in Singapore, before arriving in Amsterdam 24 hours later with several tired individuals! Once in Amsterdam, it will be on to a train to travel to our base in Delft, and then checking in to our hotel for a well earned shower!

Sunday should be a fairly quiet day but then we will be starting our visits on the Monday, so certainly no rest for the participants.
